Dilijan Museum of Regional Studies

Founded in 1950, the Geological Museum-Gallery of Dilijan is included in the list of immovable monuments of history and culture of Dilijan. The museum has more than 1017 archaeological samples. Here you can see ethnographic exhibits, samples of applied art, graphic works, paintings, sculptures, coins and ancient literature.
The gallery exhibits the works of a number of famous artists. You can see the paintings of not only Armenian, but also foreign artists, including the works of Hovhannes Avazovsky, Vardges Surenyants, Gevorg Bashinjaghyan, Martiros Saryan, Rockwell Kent, Rishar Zheranyan and others.
